Kent School’s MSCFT Program opens new clinic to provide low-cost couple and family therapy in Louisville

Do you know someone struggling to connect with their partner? Does someone you care about feel tired of conversations always ending in arguments? Do you wish there was an affordable option for couple or family counseling?

In May 2020, the Kent School’s Masters in Couple & Family Therapy (MSCFT) Program opened a new clinic to provide low-cost couple and family therapy in Louisville. Relationship Solutions is an innovative counseling environment where services are provided at low cost by graduate-level students working under the direct supervision of a licensed marriage and family therapist. Therapists provide an inviting, non-judgmental atmosphere to help clients create the relationships they want to have.

Daytime and evening sessions are available Monday through Friday. On Wednesday evenings, graduate-level student therapists receive live supervision, where they are observed in real-time by Matthew Harris – a Kent School Alum from the MSSW and CFT Programs, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified EFT Therapist, and Supervisor Candidate from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.” During live supervision, Mr. Harris observes therapists as they meet with clients to provide direct feedback to the therapists, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care.

The Relationship Solutions Clinic provides individual, couple, and family therapy to individuals living in the Louisville metro area. Sessions are now taking place via telehealth, using a secure platform to protect client information. Therapy options start at $20 per session, and sliding scale options are available if needed.
