Dr. Sharon Moore Awarded the 8th Annual Florence W. Vigilante Award for Scholarly Excellence
Congratulations to Kent Professor, Dr. Sharon Moore, and her co-authors who were recently awarded the 8th Annual Florence W. Vigilante Award for Scholarly Excellence. The award is given annually in honor of the founding editor of the Journal of Teaching in Social Work. The article Dr. Moore co-authored, titled "The Dehumanization of Black Males by Police: Teaching Social Justice -- Black Life Really Does Matter" merits this recognition based on its outstanding scholarship and creativity.
