Areas of Research Interest: Dementia in atypical spaces – beginning to understand the experience of persons with dementia while incarcerated. Additionally, gaining insight to the experiences of peer caregivers in carceral settings. Lastly, dementia and co-morbid severe and persistent mental illness – particularly those who experience frequent psychiatric hospitalization while diagnosed with dementia.
