Elizabeth L. Grossi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Justice Administration at the University of Louisville. She holds a Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Justice Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Columbia College.

Professor Grossi teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in criminological theory and corrections. Her research interests include domestic violence, racial profiling, and program evaluation. She is actively involved in the Southern Criminal Justice Association (SCJA) where she served as President (2001), Region 2 Trustee (1996-1999), and Executive Director (1994-1999). She is a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences where she served as an Executive Board Member (1996-1999) and the American Society of Criminology. She has served on active duty and the reserves of the US Army for 24 years and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Military Police Corps.
