WLKY reports Kentucky SAFE Kit Backlog Research Project results are successful

University of Louisville Criminal Justice researcher Bradley Campbell's early research shows more DNA evidence collected from sexual assaults is being tested in Kentucky than ever before. A draft report released this month found law enforcement agencies are submitting 15 percent more than previous years, not including the backlog of evidence being tested.
