Instructed graduate and undergraduate courses (online and classroom) including:  criminal law, constitutional law, police management, legal aspects of criminal justice personnel management, evidence, and senior seminar in law enforcement.  Instructed courses in the Southern Police Institute on law, police administration, environmental law, ethics, civil rights, and police management; also instructed issues in American Jurisprudence as part of international management seminars. Director/Principle Investigator/Evaluator for Research and Evaluation Unit of the Appalachia High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), 1998-2001, responsible for administering program evaluation component funded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) ($265,577 for FY 98; $243,543 for FY 99, $175,774 for FY 2000).  Provided academic/career counseling.  Conducted research on a variety of criminal justice topics with an emphasis on legal issues in policing
