Kenneth R. Nally Award

Determined by the CJ Alumni Board and is based on service

The Criteria for selecting the recipient of the Kenneth R. Nally award is based on "prominent leadership, participation in student activities, and service to the Criminal Justice Department,  the University of Louisville and the community of Jefferson County".  GPA is not considered for this award because GPA is used in determining other awards for graduating seniors. The Nally award is named for a graduate of our program and a Louisville Police Department Officer who was killed in the line of duty, Kenneth R. Nally. Nominations are solicited from the top 10 % of the year's graduating class, reviewed and selected by the Criminal Justice Alumni Board.
