Spam Quarantine Reminder Notices Have New Sender

Beginning April 22, 2008, spam quarantine reminder notices will be sent from a new email address.

New iTech Xpress Store to Open in MITC August 20

Information Technology will have a grand opening for ITech Xpress in the Miller Information Technology Center (MITC) lower level, Aug. 20-24. The shop will combine the services of the former MITC Copy Center and ITs Software Resales to provide more products and services. Items will be sold at discounted prices to UofL students, faculty and staff. Refreshments will be served Monday through Thursday at 11:30 a.m. and prize drawings each day at noon, 12:30, 1, 1:30 and 2 p.m.

Parent Orientation

It is recommended that you check with the student's individual school for specific computing requirements. However if there are none, the following recommendation is a good place to start when purchasing computers with Windows Vista installed.

Novell Client for Microsoft Vista Operating System Now Available

Novell has released a new client for the Microsoft Vista operating system.

New Password Policy Effective Beginning January 2008

Under the new policy, your ULink password must have a minimum length of eight (8) characters including at least one numeric character and at least one special character (e.g. &, *, $, etc).
