Virus and Malware Protection
Provides the mechanism and methodology for virus and malware detection, protection, and elimination for all computers associated with the university. Malware is defined as malicious software including but not limited to worms, Trojans, spyware, and unauthorized adware.
- Symantec Endpoint Protection is available for "At work", "At home", Server, and handheld installations.
- This product as well as a Virus Fix is available on CD or as a free download at the iTech Xpress Store. This download includes the installation for both the DSL/Cable, on-campus and also Dial-Up modem users.

- Before installing any new version of antivirus software it is necessary to uninstall any current antivirus software installed on your computer. For instructions please click here. (NOTE: If you are updating a release update (RU) within the same antivirus client, you should not need to uninstall the client to do so.)
