Autosys Production Job Scheduling Information Form

This form is used to request the scheduling of a Unix based job, including PeopleSoft processes.

All jobs must follow a simple naming convention in order to properly be setup in the Autosys scheduler. Each job name contains 8 characters. The first two characters describe the system ID. The third character describes whether the job is a report, update, or a mass change. The fourth character describes how often the job is to run. The remaining four characters are user-defined characters that should describe the functionality of the job.

For example, a report that runs daily that processes grades may be named SRRDGRDS.
