UOFL LAUNCHES TWO NEW EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEMS

Sign Up For Emergency Text Message Alerts

Text messaging and "loudspeaker" type voice and text messages over university phones were put in place Friday to alert the campus community in the event of an emergency. Full story at http://php.louisville.edu/news/news.php?news=984.  You must opt-in to the system to receive text messages in an emergency. To opt-in you will need to use your UofL userid and UofL password. Since the opt-in process will generate an immediate verification to your cell phone, it is a good idea to have you phone handy when you opt-in.  If you experience problems with the opt in process contact the University of Louisville Helpdesk at 852-7997 or helpdesk@louisville.edu .
