Recently Microsoft released the new Windows Vista operating system. Due to numerous incompatibilities between Windows Vista and many of the University's standard applications, Information Technology recommends taking a cautious approach with Vista. We are continuing to test Vista with University applications and are working with vendors to identify their level of support. Before purchasing a new PC with Windows Vista or upgrading to Vista, please contact your department's Tier I.
