The University of Louisville and NETA, a non-profit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring the following nationally-recognized workshops in the Fall Semester:


Indoor Cycling Specialty Certification (Saturday, September 21st, 2019 8:00am-5:00pm)

NETA's new indoor group cycling certificate covers all of the basics of teaching cycling classes including getting started, setting up the room, managing a variety of situations (dealing with new and experienced participants, late arrivals, broken equipment, etc.). Participants learn the many body positions for a safe and challenging ride, contraindications, terminology, class formatting, music selection, cuing and more.  A special section has been added to determine exercise intensity.

101 Ways To Bootcamp (Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 8:00am-1:00pm)

Bootcamp classes are challenging, fun, and a fantastic workout! If you're looking for new ideas then this workshop is for you!  Refresh your classes with intense, explosive routines designed to melt fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency and increase strength. The ideas generated in this nonstop, action packed, high energy workshop will push participants to new levels and leave you with new formats, techniques, and ideas to include in your bootcamp classes all year long.

Why Group Fitness? Because the term aerobics just didn't reflect the diverse offering of classes now available. Classes for students and SRC members are free. Just check out the schedule and come to the classes you want. 24 classes each week in 11 different styles.
