Fitness Class Descriptions
Aerobic Variety: This one hour class uses a combination of step and floor routines for a 45 minute cardiovascular workout followed by muscle conditioning exercises, a cool-down and stretching.
Boot Camp: This one hour class will challenge and strengthen your whole body. The instructor will use dumbbells, tubing, calisthenics and stability balls for resistance to work all you muscle groups. The class will be done to upbeat, fast-paced music that will leave you energized for the rest of your day.
Cardio-Kick: this cardiovascular workout uses kick-boxing moves mixed with cardiovascular routines for a total body workout sure to challenge all fitness levels.
Yoga: Relax and de-stress with this mind/body exercise designed to ease tension in the body and mind while increasing flexibility, strength and balance. These classes are appropriate for all levels.
Pilates: This 45 minute or 1 hour mind/body class primarily strengthens the core musculature (abs/back) as well as improves flexibility and balance.
Step: This one hour class will utilize the step bench for a cardiovascular workout that will help tone your muscles and enhance your cardiovascular respiratory system…Designed for all fitness levels
This one hour fast-paced, high energy fitness class features today’s popular dance moves put too Latin rhythms music.
Easy to follow, drill based kick-boxing exercises set to music. This class is designed to elevate your heart rate as well as challenge your muscles and mind.
Arms & Abs:
This 30 minute class focuses on strengthening and toning the arms and abdominal muscles using your own body weight and or hand weights as resistance.
Newbie/Low Impact Yoga:
This one hour class is for those new to yoga who want to ease their way into the practice of yoga.
A fun, challenging workout for all fitness levels! Benefits in cardiovascular fitness, muscle toning, strength and conditioning using a variety of boot camp, step and kick-boxing moves.
This 45 minute class will utilize the step, kick-boxing exercises and floor routines mixed in at intervals with strength training exercises using dumbells bands and your own body weight.
This is a 75 minute class that uses the step ( and sometimes 2 ) for a total body cardiovascular workout.
This is a one hour yoga class (faster paced than traditional yoga) sure to improve your flexibility and strength while reducing your stress.
