Facility Staff: Assists in the supervision of our different facilities including the SAC, Cardinal Corner Game Room and the HSC Fitness Center. This may include screening ID’s for entry, checking out equipment to users, providing assistance in weight and fitness areas or monitoring different areas for participant safety. Facility Supervisor: Student staff who have demonstrated excellence in that position may have the opportunity to advance to a Supervisor position. These positions involve a partial tuition waiver rather than an hourly salary. They are the lead person of their shifts and have responsibility for the student staff working at those times. Event Assistant: Our EAs assist the intramural staff on site with league and tournament games. Most of their work is in the evening or some weekends. Duties may include helping teams sign in prior to games, checking out equipment, keeping score or timing an event. Intramural Supervisor: Supervisors are the people in charge of the different activities such as leagues, tournaments and special events. They are responsible for the Event Assistants that work with them and have responsibility for the various games/events they oversee. Intramural Supervisors receive a partial tuition waiver rather than an hourly salary. Sports Official: Whether you are an experienced official or have never done any officiating before, we are always looking for people with some knowledge of sports and a desire/willingness to learn. We will provide the training and support you need to get started. If you enjoy football, basketball, soccer, softball or other sports, this is a great opportunity for you to learn something that could become a lifetime avocation. Office Staff: Several students every semester are hired to work in the Intramural Office. They may answer phones, receive event entries, direct visitors to the proper staff members, do light clerical work or other general office duties. Group Fitness Instructors: The Group Fitness Program offers numerous classes per week in a variety of formats such as; Yoga, Core Fusion, Boot Camp, Zumba, Step, Cardio-Kick, Arm & Abs, etc… We are always looking for energetic, certified student instructors to lead/teach/sub the classes. If you are currently certified and looking for a fun way to earn extra cash and stay in shape contact our Fitness Staff. If you are not certified and interested in becoming certified to teach, please contact us about ways we can assist you to gain experience in teaching and becoming a certified group fitness instructor.
