IRP will submit several national benchmarking surveys in January. If your academic unit needs information for a survey, please submit a data request using our online form at: louisville.edu/institutionalresearch/institutional-research-planning/data-request-forms-1/2011-data-request-form

In 2011, IRP completed a record number of ad-hoc data requests (443). This represents a 16% increase over last year.

OAPA extends a welcome to Taylor Heidorn. Taylor has joined our staff as an Institutional Research Analyst I.

Official summer 2011 enrollment data have been upload to our online reporting tool.

Institutional Effectiveness is administering the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) for Critical Thinking in randomly selected freshmen orientation courses.

August 2011 Updates:
- Course evaluations will be integrated with Blackboard during fall 2011. Students will be able to access their evaluations through Blackboard or using mobile devices.
- The official 6-year graduation rate will be announced in early September.
- Statistics regarding the incoming freshmen class will be available in early September.

July 2011 Updates:
- Summer 2011 enrollment data will be available on August 1, 2011.
- Trouble accessing your online course evaluations? Please contact irsurvey@louisville.edu. Remember your passwords are case sensitive.
- The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) administered the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) this spring to over 800 faculty members who taught at least one undergraduate-level course during the academic year. The response rate was 36%. IE will receive the results in August and begin conducting the data analysis.
- Institutional Effectiveness will use the web-based assessment and reporting system, Compliance Assist, for the annual Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) process. Academic units are being introduced to the applications of the product through webinars and training.

UofL is being represented at the annual Association for Institutional Research (AIR) Forum in Toronto May 21st through May 25th. A proposal by Becky Patterson, Arnold Hook, IL Barrow, and Bob Goldstein entitled “Informing Student Retention Programming Through Predictive Modeling” has been accepted for presentation.

The online course evaluation process for summer 2011 has launched. Evaluations will be released between May 12, 2011 and August 6, 2011. Students need to check their email for electronic invitations.

Spring 2011 course evaluations results (for most academic units) will be available to faculty during the week of May 9. When reports are available, faculty will receive an email with directions on how to access their results.
The School of Public Health and Information Sciences spring 2011 online course evaluations will be available through May 10th.
The School of Dentistry spring 2011 online course evaluations will be available through May 6th.
