Institutional Research

The mission of Institutional Research & Planning (IRP) is to collect, maintain, analyze, interpret, and disseminate data regarding the characteristics, operations, and policies of the University of Louisville. This information is used by members of the University community for:

      • administrative decision-making and policy formulation
      • academic program assessment and review
      • strategic institutional planning

IRP produces timely, accurate and unbiased statistical analyses regarding UofL in response to requests for information from key constituency groups both within and outside the University. IRP also complies with all state and federally-mandated reporting requirements.
