Institutional Effectiveness

Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for coordinating campus-wide and assisting unit-level assessment of academic programs and administrative processes to support the University’s quality improvement efforts.  These activities include:

    • promoting and maintain a culture of assessment

    • administering national, institutional and unit-level surveys to assess student engagement, retention, and graduation

    • conducting environmental scanning of faculty, staff, students, and alumni

    • coordinating university-wide learning assessment initiatives and evaluating student learning outcomes

    • providing technical support and consultation to assist units in assessing student learning outcomes and administrative objectives

    • conducting special studies to evaluate the University’s progress in achieving strategic goals

    • assisting academic and administrative units with the design and administration of their online surveys
