XRD Facilities

The state-of-the-art x-ray diffraction facilities contribute for characterizing structural properties of a wide range of materials including bulk, particles, thin films, liquid, and organic and inorganic crystal materials. As a key research asset of the IAM-RE, the x-ray facility is accessible by IAM-RE researchers and members as well as off-campus academic groups and industrial users. Instruments include:  a power diffractometer (Rigaku DMAX B) and a high resolution thin film diffractometer (Bruker D8 Discover) with Dome Heating Stage up to 1100oC.
