Timesheet Instructions
All temporary employees are to report their time bi-weekly as follows:
- Complete the electronic time sheet and then print out when completed. If you need additional help, please refer to the time sheet tutorial.
- Fax (1) copy of the original time sheet, signed and approved by your supervisor, to Temp Services at 852-5665 every other Wednesday by 5:00 PM as scheduled for work performed Thursday through Wednesday of the last two weeks. It is your responsibility to call Temporary Services 852-6889 to confirm receipt.
- After making yourself and your supervisor a copy, mail the "signed" original to Temp Services, via University Mail, no more than three days later.
It is a mandatory condition of employment for each employee to submit detailed, accurate and punctual time sheets. Late time sheets (after 10:30am THURSDAY morning) will not be processed until the following pay period.
You will be paid for all hours worked, excluding lunch. To be eligible for overtime pay you must work more than forty hours in one week. You will be paid one and one half times your regular rate of pay for any hours worked over forty (40). This time must be pre-approved by your supervisor.
Time sheets may also be delivered to the UTS office, located in the Human Resources building at the corner of Arthur & Brandeis Streets. A drop box is located at the entrance to the offices in the event you must deliver your time sheet after our office closes at 5:00 PM.
