University Temporary Services was established in 1979 to provide qualified temporary personnel to meet the needs of the university in cases of work overload, special projects, sickness, vacation, or staff vacancy.

Temporary Services provides a gateway into many university staff positions. Working as a university temporary creates a network of contacts and experience that can assist when applying for open positions. All temporaries working on campus must apply for open positions just like the general public by applying online.
