How Do I Sign Up For Direct Deposit?
Over 200 million people throughout the United States are currently using direct deposit. With direct deposit, your pay is transferred electronically from the university's account to your checking or saving account at banks, credit unions, or savings and loan institutions. Those enrolled in direct deposit, in most instances, have their payment automatically available in their accounts on the morning of the payment date. There is no need to make a special trip to cash or deposit a check. Direct deposit also eliminates the risk of a paper check being stolen, lost, or misplaced.
Please complete the direct deposit form, attach a voided check, and bring it to Human Resources for processing. Once received and processed by Human Resources, employees formerly receiving paper checks will receive at least one more paper check before the direct deposit process has been completed.
