New Employee Orientation
Spend your first day of work with us in New Employee Orientation and discover all the reasons why a position with the University of Louisville is more than just a paycheck!
During the full-day session, new employees sign up for benefits, obtain identification cards, parking permits, and receive information about university policies and procedures.
Orientation begins at 8:00 AM and lasts until 4:00 PM. Parking is available at Human Resources and is free to participants during orientation.
What to bring to new employee orientation:

Bring your social security card and one other form of picture identification (like a driver's license, passport, etc.) with you. You'll need them to sign up for payroll.
- If you plan to add a spouse or dependents to any benefits coverage, please bring the social security numbers in order to complete any required forms.

Bring a voided check from the bank account where you want your income to be deposited.

Call us ahead of time at 852-6542 if you require any special accommodations.
New employee orientation is held every Monday in the Human Resources Department, or on Tuesdays when the preceding Monday is a holiday. All new employees are required to attend. Driving directions are available for your convenience. See you there!
New Faculty Orientation:
New Faculty Orientation for 2009 will be held at the office of Human Resources on the following dates.
Wednesday, July 1, 2009 - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday, July 31, 2009 - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Parking will be available at Human Resources as well as the Floyd Street Parking Garage. Please contact the office of Faculty Personnel at (502) 852-5301 to sign up for a Faculty Orientation session.
