Job Title: Social Worker III
Class Code: 001459 Grade: EE
Interview and counsel patients, students, and families to provide treatment for problems related to environmental stress, physical illness, and interpersonal conflicts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Arrange and conduct interviews with patients, students, and families to obtain and evaluate case histories and social and psychological data.
Select and provide treatment and counseling services for patients.
Prepare and maintain patient registration documents, and various financial and administrative reports.
Consult with clinical staff in the University and professionals in various community agencies to assess individual needs and identify appropriate services for treatment.
Instruct and supervise graduate students.
Attend staff conferences, social work meetings, and seminars.
Perform related duties as required.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Master's degree in Social Work. State licensure as a Certified Social Worker (LCSW) may be required.
Three year of experience in Social Work.
