JOB SUMMARY

Schedule, supervise, and perform the measuring, layout, estimating, purchasing and installation of carpeting and ceiling/floor tiles; prepare, and provide cost estimates.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Measure floor and/or ceiling for carpeting or tile.

Prepare and provide cost estimates for individual projects.

Order carpet and floor or ceiling tile as needed.

Patch, repair, and prepare floor for carpet or tile installation.

Measure, cut, and lay carpet and pads or tile.

Repair and/or replace ceiling tiles as needed.

Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.

Perform related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

High school diploma.

EXPERIENCE

Four year's experience in laying carpet and tile.

An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
