JOB SUMMARY
Develop, evaluate and implement employment activities and decisions for a
specific school or college.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach students and alumni to seek desired employment opportunities or
entry into an appropriate educational, graduate or professional program.
Develop self knowledge, occupational knowledge, job-search skills through
individual advising and group presentations.
Coordinate activities and coach students/alumni on career related
matters.
Establish and maintain effective communication with students, alumni,
faculty and administration.
Liaison with associated University departments, community groups and
employers.
Perform related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master's degree in Counseling, Higher Education, College Student
Personnel or related field, MBTI completion, qualifying Certification and
National Association of Career Development, CDF Training within one year of
employment experience.
EXPERIENCE
Two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education,
training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
