JOB TITLE: Enterprise Systems Programmer IV

JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the installation, maintenance and problem analysis on operating system hardware and software across all enterprise systems. Acts as project leader on high level projects or may have Team Leader/Manager responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recommend, plan and lead implementation of enterprise system software and enhancements for critical University business systems
Responsible for vendor software contracts and Service Level Agreements with university departments.
Train and assist operators, programmers, and users.
Provide information to assist in management planning.
Develop standards and procedures.
Assign and review the work of other systems programmers.
Maintain technical proficiency through self education.
May have Team Leader responsibilities.
Perform related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
EXPERIENCE
Six years of experience as a Systems Programmer or Computer Specialist. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
