To serve and support the department in entails not only managing staff but also overseeing the installation of multiple physical network infrastructure projects, daily maintenance of the University’s enterprise communications network, and research and evaluation of new technologies. Maintain operational liaison with communication vendors, suppliers, construction managers and contractors. Provide input into department budget projections and maintain constant inventory levels of equipment by ordering necessary materials. Distribute daily work assignments to technicians and review completed assignments for accuracy. Maintain databases for asset management, historical data and billing accuracy.

Oversee infrastructure installation projects.

Maintain database information.
Manage VoIP, Unity Voicemail, E911 implementation.
Order inventory and monitor assets.
Maintain operational liaison relationships.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Master's Degree in a related field.
Seven years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
