Provide financial support to the department. Maintain and reconcile grants, budgets, and other monetary expenditures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and maintain the general accounting process of departmental accounts.
Maintain expenditures, financial records, budget preparations and payment approval.
Assist and troubleshoot potential discrepancies in the financial records and find resolution.
Serve as the contact person between departmental UBM's, grant coordinator's and fiscal staff with reconciliation and accounting issues.
Maintain records and back-up financial information on data base software programs.
Prepare various reports, analyses and other duties as assigned.
Maintain current information of policies, programs and process matters within established policies.
Provide educational training to the department on fiscal software and report generation.
Perform special assignments, research and report preparations.
May represent supervisor at meetings to furnish or obtain information related to fiscal operations.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
Three years of related experience.
