JOB SUMMARY
Facilitate the preparation of grant proposals, edit scientific writing and provide field geology consultation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage files, calendar and records of all research grants.
Prepare and edit correspondence, proposals, reports and personnel paperwork.
Communicate with collaborators, co-workers and agents.
Manage research budgets daily and weekly.
Edit and draft research presentations.
Compile an active list of references used by research group.
Inventory, order and receive supplies used for research group.
Consult as gecologist on current and future research projects.
Identify, measure, collect, record, analyze report data from the field.
Instruct research group and trainees in educational, editorial, procedural and scientific matters.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master’s or Honor’s degree in a research program with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field of Environmental or Earth Science.
EXPERIENCE
Three years of related experience.
