JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Transitional Studies

Assist in the development and administration of programs designed to reduce the attrition of University students.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Provide coordination and supervision of the supplemental instruction program; collect and analyze data.
Assist in the administration of the Learning Center.
Coordinate activities associated with the supplemental aid programs.
Monitor the student progress and develop budget projections for the awarding of funds.
Assist in developing the division's retention services and interface with other components of the division and University.
Plan, develop and provide outreach programs and workshops for the division.
Orient new and transfer students to retention services.
Assist in developing and implementing the freshman orientation interest session, "Thriving and Surviving."
Act as program liaison with the University and the community.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master's degree in Counseling, College Student Personnel or related field.
Two years of experience.
