JOB SUMMARY
Direct the University’s Child Care Program, which is collaboration between the University of Louisville and the Jefferson County Public Schools. Assure that management, operational, and financial issues/problems are related fairly and efficiently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate staff and student schedules and duties.
Supervise and train staff and students.
Manage finances for the Child Care Program.
Assist in planning and implementing children’s curriculum.
Organize and coordinates patient involvement activities.
Coordinate program activities with public school, community agency and University staff and committees.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience in directing a child development center or laboratory program. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
