JOB TITLE: Coordinator of Computer Operations, VPFA

CLASS CODE:  001370   

JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate all Tier I support for all departments reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration. Coordinate monthly preparation of investment reports for the University of Louisville Foundation Board.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate all Tier I support activity for departments within the unit of VPFA. Direct and consult with the different departments on a daily basis to identify and meet their specific needs.

Develop and implement the VPFA's long range and short-term service plans. Insure all departments are adhering to these plans.

Coordinate all planning and implementation of plans with Information Technology as necessary.

Act as project leader for hardware/software projects with small budgets or of limited duration.

Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

Prepare for the Board's) investment data gathered from the various money managers. Develop reporting procedures to accommodate the needs of the University of Louisville Foundation Board.

Work with the various money managers to streamline and improve the current methods of transmitting of information.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree in Computing Science, Accounting, or related field

EXPERIENCE

Seven years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
