JOB SUMMARY
Shoot, edit, design graphics and provide technical support to assist in the development and creation of video, television and distance education productions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shoot and record video and audio materials and programs to support teaching, research and service objectives of the university.
Serve as director for recorded and satellite studio productions.
Work with clients and team members to edit video and audio materials.
Provide graphic arts service to design and create two and three dimensional graphics, illustrations, and animations for presentation, instruction, and academic publication using computer graphics hardware and software.
Consult with clients and production team to determine needs, plan, and recommend appropriate visualization strategy and evaluate results.
Provide graphics support and training to clients and team members.
Document and report time, materials and expenses for projects, prepare billing information and submit to UBM.
Work with vendor and suppliers on special projects.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Television Production, Photography, Graphic Design or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
