JOB TITLE: Coordinator Special Projects, Student Activities

JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate the Student Activities Board programs, assist in the training and development of the Student Activities Board.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Coordinate the Student Activities Board programs, including the social, educational, recreational, multicultural, and community service activities. The Student Activities Board are responsible for events which include the student homecoming activities, Floyd Theater movies, daytime programs, lectures, Health Science campus mixers, Mr. And Mrs. Cardinal award, concerts, and major college tours.

Assist with the ongoing student development of the Student Activities Board to include governance, leadership, group development, teamwork, marketing, and promotion. Coordinate advertising of the Student Activities Board on campus.

Assist with student leadership projects.

Assist with the coordination of the Student Activities Board budget preparation. Assist with coordination of expenditure of funds and collection of all revenues associated with the Student Activities Board activities.

Assist with coordination of details of programs and the Student Activities Center administration staff.

Coordinate the evaluation of the Student Activities Board programs through the use of pre and post program forms.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education, Administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

One year of related experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
