Direct the Financial Aid application processing area. Supervise and train advisors and support staff, administer campus-based awards and loan processing, counsel students, and present financial aid workshops.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Supervise the awarding and processing of the Federal Family Education Loan Program and other state and federal loan programs.
Oversee the community service Federal Work-Study Program awards.
Direct and participate in debt management counseling.
Provide supervision of Advisors and support staff in the application processing area.
Coordinate the processing and awarding of campus based Federal financial aid programs.
Coordinate Consortium agreements.
Provide guidance, resources, training, and information to staff and students workers.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master’s degree in Business, Guidance and Counseling, Student Personnel Administration, or related field.
Five years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
