JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the activities in the area of Undergraduate Advising. Coordinate the supervision and training of the advisors and support staff.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Oversee the activities in the area of Undergraduate Advising.

Evaluate the technology and space requirements.

Coordinate the supervision and training of the advisors and support staff.

Direct the freshman/transfer student orientation programs for the college.

Teach the freshman seminar course.

Direct the advising of the student athletes.

Advise prospective and enrolled students.

Plan and execute college graduation ceremony and other projects. 

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Masters degree in Student Personnel Services, Guidance and Counseling or a related field. 

EXPERIENCE

Five years of experience in Individual and Group Counseling Programs. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
