JOB TITLE: Tour Coordinator

Plan, coordinate, and implement the university's campus tours program for prospective students. Assist with the management and program development of the Information Centers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, coordinate, and implement the campus tours program, working closely with the Admissions Office to support student recruitment. Train and schedule tour guides. Coordinate "a Day on Campus" and similar programs. Oversee model dorm room.
Assist in managing daily operations and services of both Visitor Information Centers. Serve as supervisor at the West center. Manage both centers in the Manager's absence.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance visitor information. Assist with long-range planning. Coordinate visitor-parking arrangements.
Manage a variety of databases, including the university master calendar. Serve as backup for updating "Week at a Glance".
Respond to requests for general university information from faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, or related field with coursework in data processing or computer science.
Two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
