Develop, administer and direct community relations programs for the University.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, administer and oversee the Community Relations budget and programs.
Supervise staff in all the programs.
Coordinate the planning and implementation of major community relations’ activities.
Coordinate community outreach and related staff recognition efforts such as the Community Service recognition program, the Bell Awards and the Volunteer Fair.
Develop and administer special events such as the Holiday Book Bag program and Community Spotlights.
Assist the Assistant Vice President for University Relations with special assignments involving University Partnership for Urban Development and also university and community relations.
Responsible for compliance of the Memo of Understanding between University of Louisville and the NIA Center.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or related field.
Five years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
