JOB TITLE: Technology Specialist Intermediate

In partnership with Information Technology, coordinate the departmental acquisition, asset management, mid-level support, and training for technology.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Assist with planning, coordinate acquisition and provide asset management, front line departmental support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for desktop and LAN technology, including voice, data, and video.
Partner with Information Technology regarding support, planning, standards and policies, changes, and professional development, and insure appropriate information is shared with the department.
Plan and coordinate training for faculty and staff on the use of desktop technology and supported applications.
Provide graphics and web development support. Coordinate AV services, room scheduling, and self-service scanning.
Provide support to faculty engaged in research by assisting with data preparation, transfers, and storage of research data.
Support data input and ad hoc reporting for enterprise and departmental applications.
Develop and maintain departmental web pages.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
