JOB TITLE: Technology Specialist

In partnership with Information Technology, coordinate the departmental acquisition, asset management, basic support, and training for technology.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Coordinate acquisition and provide asset management and front line departmental support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for desktop technology, including voice, data, and video.
Partner with Information Technology regarding support, planning, standards and policies, changes, and professional development, and insure appropriate information is shared with the department.
Coordinate training for faculty and staff on the use of desktop technology and supported applications.
Support data input and ad hoc reporting for enterprise and department applications.
Provide local support for distributed printing, copying, and document imaging.
Coordinate AV services, room scheduling, and self-service scanning.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
One year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
