JOB SUMMARY

Manage the operational activities of the clinical trials for a research program. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Manage, coordinate and execute program research. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Develop and define educational needs of research staff.

Act as liaison between principal investigators and associated University departments, community groups and sponsoring agencies.

Develop budgets, make recommendations and implement budget adjustments. Monitor expenditures. Prepare financial reports.

Research, gather, organize and compile data for research proposals and submit reports and other documentation as required by sponsoring agencies.

Coordinate and monitor all aspects of research trials, including protocol compliance, education of subjects, data collection and reporting.

Monitor patient screenings and maintain records and test results. Maintain documentation according to FDA, sponsor and University guidelines.

Hire, train and supervise research nursing staff. Provide specialized nursing services in the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients and research subjects as needed to accomplish research goals.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Kentucky Nursing License and CPR Certification. 

EXPERIENCE

Five years of related experience.
