JOB SUMMARY
Develop, implement and assess educational objectives consistent with the Undergraduate initiative. Assist in coordinating UofL Distance Education activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Review, revise and implement university-wide general education requirements.
In conjunction with the Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, develop criteria and methods for review and assessment of general education.
Work with the Dean of Undergraduate Studies and the Executive Director of Metropolitan College to plan, implement and assess programs consistent with the needs of enrolled students at UofL.
Work with Dean of Undergraduate Studies to develop and monitor pilot retention projects.
Coordinate the delivery of course and program reporting requirements for the Kentucky Commonwealth Virtual University (KCVU).
Coordinate the establishment of a student help desk for KCVU.
Coordinate the development of a Center for the enhancement of Teaching Learning through Technology.
Perform instructional and/or related duties through the English Rhetoric and Composition program.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Ph.D. in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Seven years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
