JOB TITLE: Field Training Coordinator, Elementary Schools

CLASS CODE: 001234  

JOB SUMMARY

Develop, coordinate and direct model programs in the elementary schools for promoting the education of children with autism. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop model programs, prepare documentation for use, evaluate and disseminate across Kentucky.

Meet with key leaders and develop collaborative contracts and projects.

Supervise trainees and graduate students.

Prepare reports for professional presentation. 

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree, advanced degree (MA or equivalent) in Special Education or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Five years of experience in working with individuals with autism and other pervasive developmental disabilities, and in developing and implementing school-based programs. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
