JOB TITLE: Facilities Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
Implement and coordinate all room allocations and furnishings, and the scheduling of classrooms throughout building. Be responsible for the set up, security locking and opening of building and designated areas for all internal and external affairs. Perform general maintenance and repairs and conduct tours of facilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all furnishings in building. Aide to the Dean's Office, inventory control and management. Assign, monitor and control classroom usage; act as central control point for all room usage in building.
Assist with all internal and external affairs.
Set-up and security of all audio-video equipment for usage by internal and external (auditorium) classrooms. Computer equipment for office and classrooms.
Security checking and locking of building on a weekly basis. Safety prevention and coordination, contact with Public Safety.
Repairing of furnishings, plumbing, etc., hanging of art objects, air conditioning/heating constant contact with Physical Plant.
Filming of seminars.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Eighteen months of education or training beyond the high school level.
