JOB SUMMARY

Plan, schedule, and supervise the maintenance, construction and repair work of buildings and systems. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Supervise and assign the work schedules of trade helpers and journeymen.

Sketch, plan, read and interpret blueprints and manufacturers' specifications.

Order and maintain parts, materials, and equipment for installations and repairs.

Monitor and control costs and spending in relation to allotted budget.

Maintain necessary billing records and logs.

Interview, train, supervise, and evaluate employees.

Provide technical and safety training on an individual and group basis. 

Meet with other supervisors and foremen to discuss related problems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Completion of formal trades apprenticeship. 

EXPERIENCE

Four years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
