JOB SUMMARY
Perform basic maintenance and repair to elevators and escalators located on Belknap, HSC, and Shelby campuses.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Elevator Maintenance Specialist II in the repair of all malfunctioning elevators and escalators on all three campuses of the University.
Perform preventive maintenance on all University units.
Assist with inspections conducted by local and state inspectors.
Lift heavy equipment, climb, and crawl when necessary.
Perform some maintenance duties with little direct supervision.
Trouble shoot and assist in diagnosing mechanical problems.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILLS
High School Diploma.
EXPERIENCE
Six months of related experience.
