JOB SUMMARY

Provide management and quality control for area of responsibility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Assist in planning, distribution and scheduling of work.

Operate all area equipment and train employees in the skills necessary to perform advanced job procedures.

Recommend equipment repair and replacement and develop and supervise written maintenance schedules.

Assist in development of work procedures.

Assist in achievement of production schedules, recommend overtime, and ensure accurate reporting of time worked by employees and materials used.

Check and approve proofs and samples.

Enforce safety rules and coordinate scheduling of vacations.

May provide reports to management; communicate policies to employees.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Up to eighteen months of Graphic Arts training beyond high school.

EXPERIENCE

Five years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
