JOB SUMMARY

Perform research work of a moderately complex nature under general supervision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct research work and laboratory analysis following clearly defined procedures.

Prepare media cultures, microscopic slides and perform a variety of technical measurements.

Synthesize research information and prepare statistical summaries.

Search records and collate research data for scientific reports.

Assist in writing, editing and arranging materials for exhibition, publication and lectures.

May write computer programs for data analysis.

May order laboratory supplies and equipment.

Perform related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

EXPERIENCE

No experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
