JOB TITLE: Bindery Operator II

JOB SUMMARY
Operate and maintain a variety of large scale and technical bindery equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, activate, and operate collator-stitcher-trimmer, programmable cutter, 20 X 26-inch folder, and all other bindery equipment.
Clean and maintain bindery equipment; making repairs and adjustments.
Coordinate paper flow to presses and bindery for efficient scheduling and production.
Receive, check, store, shelf, and assist with maintaining paper, inventory, and bindery supplies.
Help in the supervision of lower level bindery workers, part-time workers, and student workers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, AND SKILLS
High school diploma plus two years of post-secondary technical training.
EXPERIENCE
Four years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
